Message posted by Minnetonka Bike Club : ** Minnetonka Boulevard Bicycling Lanes Are Threatened ** Hennepin County is thinking of eliminating the striped, on-road bicycling lanes from Minnetonka Boulevard west of Highway 100. They have already done this east of Highway 100. Two of the three design options involve a combined walking and biking path on one or both sides of the road outside the curbs. The third option is a bike path next to the sidewalk outside the curb. As you know, Minnetonka Boulevard is a major link west to the Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka region. There will be an "open house" comment meeting:
